Three At Midnight

The hotel suite was warm with candlelight and the lingering scent of perfume. Floor-to-ceiling windows revealed the city below — glittering, indifferent. But inside, the air crackled.

Ava stood at the minibar, swirling bourbon in a glass, wearing nothing but a silk robe that barely brushed her thighs. On the couch, Leo leaned back, shirt unbuttoned, watching her — and watching the woman beside him.

Nina.

She had arrived an hour ago, bold and magnetic. An old friend of Ava’s, and something more — someone they’d both been flirting with for months. Tonight, they had finally said it aloud. Let’s not pretend anymore.

Nina leaned toward Leo, fingers skimming his thigh. “You two really do like to share, don’t you?”

Ava turned, her voice low. “Only when we trust someone enough to break the rules with.”

She crossed the room slowly, placed the bourbon on the table, and sank to her knees in front of them. Her hand slid over Nina’s calf, inching upward beneath the hem of her dress. “Do you want to know our favorite rule?”

Nina’s breath caught. “Tell me.”

“We always start together.”

Leo’s fingers tangled in Ava’s hair, guiding her up. She kissed him deeply, then pulled Nina in between them, mouths brushing, heat rising. Clothes disappeared with little resistance. Ava’s lips traced down Nina’s collarbone as Leo’s hands explored both of them — a contrast of touch: firm, then gentle, then teasing.

Nina gasped as Ava’s mouth moved lower, breath hot against skin. She arched, caught between Leo’s kiss and Ava’s tongue — surrounded, cherished, devoured. The three of them moved like a single rhythm — limbs tangled, hands roaming, soft moans rising into the dark.

Leo guided Ava onto the bed, her body flushed and eager. Nina followed, straddling her, kissing her slow and deep, as Leo watched — hand wrapped around himself, hunger in his eyes. The connection between them wasn’t just physical — it was trust, years of love stretched open for someone new to step inside.

Later, as they lay tangled in damp sheets and whispered breath, Nina smiled lazily between them.

“So… do all your adventures end like this?”

Ava kissed her shoulder, pulling her close. “No,” she murmured. “Most of them don’t start this well either.”

Leo chuckled, pulling the blanket over all three of them. “But we’re very good at repeats.”
